Perform day-to-day administration of enterprise infrastructure platforms, including systems, networks, cloud environments, and collaboration technologies, with guidance from senior team members as appropriate Support the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of infrastructure systems to promote reliable performance, availability, and consistent operations Support identity and access management activities across directory services, access control systems, and enterprise SaaS platforms Perform routine infrastructure maintenance, including patching, backup validation, system updates, and configuration changes Monitor system and network health using enterprise observability tools; investigate issues, gather relevant information, and escalate when appropriate based on established procedures Execute and maintain scripts and contribute to automation efforts that reduce repetitive work, improve consistency, and increase operational efficiency Respond to service requests and infrastructure incidents; perform initial troubleshooting, collect diagnostic information, and contribute to root cause analysis in collaboration with other team members Participate in infrastructure projects and operational improvement initiatives, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise technologies and established infrastructure practices Create and maintain documentation for system changes, operational procedures, troubleshooting processes, and support activities to promote knowledge sharing and service continuity Follow established security, compliance, and data protection requirements in the administration and support of infrastructure systems
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support, systems administration, or a related role within cloud, hybrid, or on-premises environments Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including Windows and Linux systems, network services, Microsoft 365, and directory services such as Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure Familiarity with scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell or Bash, to support recurring administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency Experience using system monitoring tools and performing routine infrastructure maintenance, including patching, backups, and system updates Understanding of identity and access management concepts within directory services, access control systems, or enterprise SaaS platforms Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to follow documented procedures, analyze standard technical issues, and determine when escalation is appropriate
Relevant industry certifications are preferred, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure/Microsoft 365, CompTIA, Cisco, or equivalent infrastructure and cloud certifications
