Overview The Inspector at Cook Winston-Salem is responsible to inspect products according to regulated procedures. Overview
The Inspector at Cook Winston-Salem is responsible to inspect products according to regulated procedures.
Responsibilities
• Inspect products and or components per detailed specifications and/or drawings for quality, which includes, but is not limited to the following: - Visually, dimensionally and functionally inspect product - Determine whether the product is acceptable using prescribed standards - Complete all necessary documentation• Assist in training new employees in the department• Perform daily and weekly cleaning• Perform other duties as assigned• Ability to read, write, and understand product specifications, drawings, work orders, labels and quality forms written in English• Ability to use a variety of testing equipment including small measuring devices

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED • Minimum 18 years of age
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations• Majority of work is conducted in a “controlled” environment• Visual Acuity to work with small parts
• Majority of day is spent sitting and walking within various departments• Ability to occasionally lift up to 10lbs 90% of day; remaining 10% able to co-carry up to 35lbs• Ability to perform fine manipulation with hands e.g. grasping, pinching pulling
