Loan accounting and interest accruals: Calculate and record interest on intercompany loans, maintain accurate supporting schedules, and ensure appropriate accruals and journal entries are posted. Cost-plus transactions: Calculate and record cost-plus charges, including applicable mark-ups, and prepare the corresponding journal entries in accordance with group policies and transfer pricing requirements. Cost allocations and recharges: Calculate, validate, and post intercompany cost allocations and recharges, ensuring expenses are distributed accurately across the relevant entities. Financial close support: Prepare intercompany journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and eliminations while supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Intercompany agreement coordination: Work with Legal and other relevant teams to prepare, initiate, maintain, and update intercompany agreements as business requirements evolve. Accounting standards and transfer pricing: Support compliance with group accounting policies, transfer pricing requirements, IFRS, US GAAP, and applicable documentation standards. ERP implementation and process improvement: Participate in the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems, including NetSuite, and contribute to improving intercompany workflows, controls, and reporting processes. Audit and stakeholder support: Prepare supporting documentation for external and internal audits, tax reviews, and treasury-related requests, responding to queries and ensuring records are complete and traceable. Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Finance Controllers, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and other finance stakeholders to resolve complex accounting matters and maintain consistency across international entities. Requirements At least five years of accounting experience in international companies or multinational business environments. Strong hands-on experience in intercompany accounting, including the management and reconciliation of transactions across multiple legal entities. Solid knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with the ability to understand and navigate differences between local accounting practices and group reporting requirements. Proven experience supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and eliminations. Practical experience accounting for intercompany loans, calculating interest, processing cost-plus transactions, and managing cost allocations and related journal entries. Experience preparing and maintaining supporting documentation for financial audits, tax reviews, and other compliance activities. Familiarity with transfer pricing policies and intercompany agreements, including the documentation needed to support transactions between related entities. Experience working with ERP and financial accounting systems; NetSuite experience is an advantage. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions. A confident, mature, and proactive professional approach, with the ability to engage effectively with Finance Controllers and other senior stakeholders.
