Guided by its mission to Make People and Nature Healthier Through Biotechnology, and its role as a well-recognized biotechnology company, GenScript has a team of approximately 6,165 employees and has served more than 200,000 customers across over 100 countries and regions.   Key Responsibilities According to the department's rules and procedures, synthesize the targeted Gene required by the customer To perform a series of experimental procedures such as PCR, Ligation Transformation, Bacterial Inspection, Plasmid Construction, Quality Inspection and etc. Perform data record analysis, result evaluation and etc. Ensure that safety production management regulations and product production SOP requirements are followed strictly. Operate experiments independently which include: Gene Synthesis, Vector Construction, Gene Mutation, Plasmid Extraction, Sequence Analysis, Sequencing, PCR & qPCR, Reagent Preparation, Quality Inspection and etc. Problem identified in production process should be reported in a timely manner and actively solve the issues with team Make sure the handover of the experiment on the day properly and do simply analysis of the problem is made of the unfinished experiment To complete other tasks assigned by superior Key Requirements Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences / Life Sciences / Bioengineering / Chemistry or related courses Solid foundation in Molecular Biology and Cell Biology; strong background in experimental operation; familiar with Conventional techniques of genetic engineering, such as Isolation and Manipulation of DNA (i.e: Primer Design, Plasmid Design, PCR, Restriction Digestion, Homologous Recombination, CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing, Transformation, Plasmid Isolation, Sequence Analysis and etc.) is preferred Strong sense of achievement; resilient and able to perform under the pressure Team player with good communication skills (verbal and written) Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with 2 rest days that may not always fall on weekends Benefits: Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match that vests fully on day one.
