You will be contracted by Lyra Clinical Associates.
Role Description This is an associate role supporting Lyra Health’s delivery of mental health services in Melaka, Malaysia. In this role, you will provide counseling/therapy sessions to clients (via in-person and virtual settings), while adhering to Lyra’s clinical and service standards. Associates are expected to have access to a suitable, private, and professional venue to conduct in-person sessions. Associates will receive client referrals from Lyra and are expected to manage their session scheduling, maintain timely and accurate documentation, and ensure a high standard of care. The role involves periodic coordination with Lyra’s care and operations team to support seamless service delivery and a positive client experience.
Professional Qualification: Must be a Registered Counselor (KB; PA) with the Malaysian Board of Counselors (Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia) or a qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
Experience in providing counselling or therapy services
Must have a safe, private, and professional space for in-person sessions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical practice
Timely completion of documentation and administrative requirements
Comfortable using digital tools/platforms for sessions and case management
Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with a remote team
Fluency in English; additional local languages are an advantage
