Overview
The International University of Monaco offers a limited merit-based scholarship worth up to 10%–15% of tuition for admitted students who demonstrate strong academic, extracurricular, professional or international merit.
Complete scholarship details
Applicants must first be admitted to an eligible International University of Monaco programme. The scholarship request form should be requested within 15 days of admission and returned within 30 days. Selection is merit-based rather than income-based and considers the overall application, academic and language performance, extracurricular and volunteer activity, sports or artistic achievement, awards, work experience, entrepreneurship and international background. The award can cover a maximum of 10%–15% of tuition and cannot be combined with another IUM tuition discount. IUM states that scholarship numbers are limited and that the applicable class start date is the final deadline, so no unsupported fixed calendar deadline is stored here.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must first secure admission to an eligible IUM degree programme and then submit the merit-scholarship application within the university’s stated post-admission timing. Awards are competitive and based on demonstrated merit across academic, language, extracurricular, volunteer, sport/artistic, professional, entrepreneurial and international criteria. Applicants must follow the current IUM scholarship form and programme-specific admission requirements.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified on the official IUM merit-scholarship page, updated 8 September 2026, and the official IUM application portal. IUM states that the scholarship form should be requested within 15 days after admission, returned within 30 days, and that the applicable class start date is the final deadline. Because no single calendar date applies across programmes/intakes, deadline fields are left null.
