Overview
The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea is accepting applications for its full-time three-month internship period running April through June 2027 in Hamburg.

Internship areas include the Legal Office, Library and Archives, Linguistic Services and Press Office. ITLOS internships are normally unpaid and interns generally cover travel, accommodation and living expenses. A limited Trust Fund may assist qualifying nationals of developing countries who need financial support. Applicants are responsible for any required German visa.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants should have completed at least three years of university study; normally be enrolled in a degree or postgraduate programme during the application and internship, or be a recent graduate; normally be no older than 32; have a good command of English and/or French; and show interest in fields relevant to ITLOS.
