Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies. Respond to e-mails or phone calls from members regarding our pension or post-retirement benefit plans. Maintain member records in the system for pension and post-retirement benefits plans. Support the administration of the Company’s defined benefit pension plans, such as pension adjustments, pension adjustment reversals, and annual pension statements. Support the calculation and payment of defined benefit pension entitlements on retirement, termination, death and marriage breakdown. Support other administrative tasks, such as reviewing and following up on returned pension paperwork, sending member communications, reconciling monthly member status reports, and payment of pension invoices.
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or related program (Mathematics, Statistics, Business). Previous knowledge of defined benefit pension plans or pension plan administration is considered an asset. Highly organized, detail oriented and a self-starter Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to prioritize and work under pressure with minimal supervision Advanced Word and Excel skills Strong analytical skills

Salary: $4,117 - $5,192 CAD/month Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
