Overview
STEP offers fully funded two-year intermediate technical diplomas to vulnerable Jordanian youth at three public universities.
Complete scholarship details
The STEP scholarship supports up to 130 vulnerable Jordanian young people in two-year intermediate technical diploma programmes at Al-Balqa Applied University, Al al-Bayt University and Tafila Technical University. Eligible fields include renewable energy, information technology, smart agriculture, hospitality and nursing. The package includes academic fees and additional study, living, transport and participation support described in the official programme documents.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must satisfy the vulnerability and admissions conditions in the official announcement. Priority groups include women, persons with disabilities and applicants from northern and southern governorates. Candidates must complete the unified-admission process, include at least two STEP programmes among their choices and then complete the STEP scholarship survey.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Jordan’s official higher-education announcement verified the STEP application route and 30 August 2026 closing date. Programme benefits and priority groups were cross-checked against official programme information; no closing clock time was published, so machine deadline is null.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
