Your Tasks

  • You will play an active role in planning the content, delivering and following up on a variety of event formats for our clients.
  • You will advise end clients on day-to-day operational matters and support the team in maintaining relationships with our existing clients.
  • You will communicate project requirements, milestones and objectives to your stakeholders, whilst keeping a close eye on the timetable.
  • You will assist with the selection and management of external partners and suppliers (e.g. stand builders, catering, photographers, event equipment).
  • You will be on site at our events, looking after participants and thus playing a key role in ensuring a successful experience.
  • You will coordinate between other departments, such as the transport service and visitor support.
  • You will create clear presentations, prepare quotations and cost calculations, assist with budget planning, and contribute to reporting and evaluations.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • You have some initial practical professional experience (e.g. through relevant work placements, part-time student roles or approximately 1–2 years’ professional experience) in event and/or project management.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team, can keep track of things even during hectic projects, and are keen to learn how to successfully ‘pull everything together’.
  • You have completed a vocational training programme or hold a degree in event management, marketing, hospitality, business administration or a comparable field.
  • You are characterised by a structured, solution-oriented approach to work and demonstrate a healthy dose of initiative.
  • You are articulate, enthusiastic and a genuine team player with a hands-on attitude, who enjoys direct customer contact on an equal footing.
  • You are proficient in using MS Office applications and communicate fluently in German as well as well in English.
