Overview
KAIST is accepting international graduate applications for Spring 2027 from 18 August through 1 September 2026, with KAIST scholarship consideration available to eligible applicants.
Complete scholarship details
The international graduate route covers master's, master's–PhD integrated and PhD study. KAIST states that applicants selecting KAIST Scholarship as their financial resource are considered for full tuition support, national health insurance and a monthly stipend, subject to programme and selection rules. Special awards include the KAIST Global Presidential Scholarship for highly competitive master's or integrated applicants and the KAIST Prestige Scholarship for eligible doctoral applicants. Funding is competitive and is not guaranteed merely by admission.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be citizens of countries other than South Korea. Master's or integrated applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent by enrolment; PhD applicants need a master's degree or equivalent. Official English-proficiency requirements and waiver rules apply. Applicants should check the current programme exclusions and department requirements.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified 2026-08-28 on KAIST's official international graduate timeline, eligibility and financial-support pages. The official timeline states 18 August–1 September 2026 but does not publish a closing time, so deadline is stored as null and the date is preserved in deadline_text. Scholarship benefits are described as competitive consideration, not guaranteed funding.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
