KIOS CoE is recruiting five full-time PhD scholarship recipients for research in ICT, control, AI, cyber-physical systems, cybersecurity and critical-infrastructure technologies.

Successful candidates conduct fundamental or applied research at KIOS and enroll in an eligible University of Cyprus PhD programme in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or, where aligned, Computer Science. The scholarship is offered for one year and may be renewed annually based on performance for 3–5 years. It includes University tuition fees except for a EUR 500 prepayment and a gross monthly salary starting at EUR 1,700.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field, have strong academic and technical preparation, and demonstrate very good English. Previous research experience is an advantage. Scholarship selection is separate from admission to the relevant University of Cyprus PhD programme.
