How can you make a difference?
This assignment aims to strengthen UNICEF’s knowledge management on gender equality and support the implementation of the UGEAP 2026–2029. The consultant will develop, curate and disseminate gender-related knowledge products, facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity building, and promote mutual learning across UNICEF to improve the visibility, accessibility and use of gender-related tools, evidence and good practices.

Minimum requirements:
-
Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, Communications, International Development, or a related field is required.
-
An advanced university degree in a relevant field is an asset.
-
Work Experience:
-
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in knowledge management, digital collaboration platforms (SharePoint/Teamsite), or communications, ideally within the UN system or international development context.
-
Language requirement:
-
Fluency in English (written and spoken) required.
-
Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset.
-
Skills:
-
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools;
-
strong information architecture and content design skills;
-
experience organizing and delivering webinars/training sessions;
-
strong written communication skills.
Desirables:
-
Familiarity with UNICEF's Gender Equality Action Plan (UGEAP) 2026–2029 and gender-transformative programming;
-
prior experience supporting a UN or gender-focused team's knowledge management function.
