Research and risk investigation: Conduct thorough research into customer backgrounds, corporate structures, beneficial ownership, and other relevant information to identify potential compliance concerns. Stakeholder collaboration: Work with internal teams and external parties to obtain supporting information, resolve verification issues, and ensure timely completion of due diligence procedures. AML compliance and monitoring: Apply relevant anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) principles, including applicable FATF recommendations, when assessing customer risk. Process improvement: Contribute to operational projects and initiatives that improve onboarding efficiency, documentation quality, risk assessment practices, and compliance workflows. Practical experience onboarding individual customers, including reviewing identity documents and assessing source of funds and source of wealth documentation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring that customer records, verification results, and investigation findings are accurate and properly documented. Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to obtain information and resolve complex cases. Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive personal, financial, and corporate information.
