The scholarship is open for future 2026 and 2027 intakes and provides an upfront tuition-fee discount for the duration of study. Applicants with a WAM of 60–74.9 receive 20%; applicants with a WAM of 75 or above receive 25%, subject to course and scholarship eligibility. Scholarship consideration is automatic after an application for an approved La Trobe course.

Applicants must be citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand, be new international students starting an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programme in a future 2026 or 2027 intake, be full-fee-paying and non-sponsored, apply to an eligible course, meet entry requirements, and satisfy La Trobe’s Genuine Student assessment. As a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand, an otherwise eligible applicant from Equatorial Guinea can be considered under the published nationality rule.
