Lead Consultant (Fusion Service VBCS / Redwood Developer)

Our partner is looking for a Lead Consultant (Fusion Service VBCS / Redwood Developer) based in India. In this role, you will lead the development, customization, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion Service applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Redwood UI technologies. You will transform business requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions that improve service workflows and customer experiences. Working across technical and functional teams, you will design modern interfaces, develop custom application extensions, and integrate enterprise systems through REST APIs and Oracle services. You will play a key role in ensuring application performance, security, and maintainability while following Oracle's recommended development practices. The position also offers opportunities to lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and contribute to successful implementations and production rollouts. Lead the design, development, customization, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion Service applications using VBCS and Redwood technologies. Develop and extend user interfaces using Oracle Visual Builder and Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio), leveraging supported extension and personalization frameworks. Implement Redwood UX designs and build custom pages, forms, layouts, business logic, and interactive features that improve service workflows. Integrate Oracle Fusion Service with REST APIs, business objects, business events, integration services, and external applications to enable reliable data exchange. Configure service-related functionality, including service requests, customer information, and associated workflows. Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and oversee debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution. Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), deployments, production troubleshooting, and post-go-live activities. Ensure application performance, security, maintainability, and compliance with Oracle development standards and best practices. Mentor junior developers, share technical expertise, and provide guidance to the development team. Contribute to ongoing improvements, technical documentation, and regression testing associated with Oracle quarterly updates. Requirements A graduate degree in any discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Oracle CX / Oracle Sales Cloud . Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Redwood UI development, including extensions and personalization. Practical knowledge of Visual Builder Studio, business rules, action chains, variables, and service connections. Experience consuming Oracle Fusion REST APIs and integrating Oracle applications with external systems. Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and CSS, with a solid understanding of application development and debugging. Good understanding of Oracle Fusion Service and Customer Experience (CX) application architecture, including service-related functionality and workflows. Experience with application troubleshooting, performance optimization, technical documentation, testing, and defect resolution. Ability to lead technical discussions, review designs and code, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), integration patterns, Oracle Fusion security, roles, privileges, and authentication mechanisms is an advantage. Familiarity with Oracle SaaS implementations, rollout projects, quarterly updates, regression testing, and production support is preferred. Knowledge of Oracle's supported Redwood extensibility frameworks and recommended development practices is highly desirable. Benefits Employment type: Full-time, permanent position.
