Who we are
Full job description
Who we are We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in? WHY WOULD YOU LOVE THIS JOB? Redis is the platform developers trust for real-time data—and the platform an increasing share of AI applications are built on. Now, the audience discovering and evaluating Redis is no longer exclusively human. AI agents can identify a need, decide which solution fits, review technical documentation, and create a new account within one continuous session. The Lead, Growth Marketing owns the Redis digital surface for both agents and humans. This includes the website, SEO, answer engine optimization, generative engine optimization, conversion-rate optimization, and the measurement system that connects discovery to pipeline, account creation, and activation. Your central challenge is to streamline agent-led growth: making Redis easy for agents to discover, understand, recommend, evaluate, and select while ensuring the same digital experience converts human developers and buyers. This is a hands-on strategic leadership role for a builder who wants to create a new kind of digital growth system at a high-growth, pre-IPO company. You’ll define the strategy, direct external specialists, contribute to the highest-priority work, measure the outcomes, and continuously improve the system with data. You should be as comfortable presenting a strategy to executives as you are opening an AI tool and building a working campaign prototype from a blank page in 30 minutes. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the Redis digital surface. Set the strategy for how agents and humans discover, understand, evaluate, and convert across Redis’s website, documentation pathways, organic presence, and AI surfaces.
- Lead agent-driven growth. Build a low-friction journey in which an agent can identify the right Redis solution, review the relevant documentation, and create an account in a single session.
- Own SEO, AEO, and GEO. Establish the strategy for search engines, AI answer engines, generative search, assistants, and coding agents so Redis is accurately represented, cited, recommended, and selected.
- Own website strategy. Define the platform story, information architecture, page priorities, content pathways, and contextual-conversion model. Partner with web engineering on implementation and feasibility.
- Lead CRO and experimentation. Maintain a rigorous testing roadmap across high-intent pages, documentation journeys, sign-up flows, and other critical conversion points.
- Build the measurement system. Connect human and agent discovery to meaningful outcomes, including visibility, citations, recommendations, documentation engagement, account creation, conversion, activation, and pipeline.
- Turn data into action. Use performance data to improve the strategy, prioritize the roadmap, reallocate resources, and decide what to scale, revise, or stop.
- Direct external specialists. Set priorities and scopes of work for contractors and an agency partner, review output, and redirect capacity as business needs change.
- Align the digital growth engine. Partner with content, developer relations, product, engineering, paid media, and executive leadership so Redis presents one connected path from discovery to adoption. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
- Typically 7+ years in digital growth or GTM marketing, including meaningful experience inside high-growth B2B SaaS, infrastructure, or AI-adjacent companies.
- A record of building or materially improving digital growth systems where the strategy and operating model were not already fully defined.
- Deep experience owning website strategy, digital conversion, and organic growth—not simply supporting those functions.
- Experience developing integrated SEO, AEO, or GEO strategies across traditional search, generative search, AI assistants, answer engines, or coding agents.
- An understanding of how content, documentation, citations, authority, structured information, and technical foundations influence AI recommendations and technology selection.
- Experience defining measurement for emerging digital journeys, including the ability to connect leading signals to account creation, activation, pipeline, or revenue.
- Direct ownership of a CRO and experimentation program, with strong analytical and statistical judgment.
- Experience defining email and GTM-orchestration strategy while directing specialists who handle implementation and ongoing operations.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools and agents to research, plan, build, analyze, or optimize marketing programs.
- AI-native operating fluency: you can rapidly turn a business objective into a credible campaign, journey, or workflow prototype and then improve it with judgment and data.
- Experience directing contractors and agency-staffed specialists, including scoping work, setting priorities, reviewing output, and reallocating capacity.
- Strong executive communication and the willingness to move between strategy and hands-on work. We give back to our employees: Our culture is what makes Redis a fun and rewarding place to work. To support you at work and beyond, we offer all our US team members fantastic benefits and perks:
- Competitive salaries and equity grants
- Unlimited time off to promote a healthy work-life balance
- H/D/V coverage along with 401K, FSA, and commuter benefits
- Frequent team celebrations and recreation events

- Ability to influence a high-performance company on its way to IPO The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $170,000 - $210,000 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
