We are a fast-growing, venture-backed team of scientists and engineers, and the cryogenic systems we build ship to leading quantum computing groups around the world.   We are seeking a Lead Technician to help stand up and run production at our new operations facility in Singapore. You will lead a team of technicians building, testing, and shipping dilution refrigerators, and you will be the hands-on expert on the floor: training the team, owning build quality, and solving problems as they come up. You will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams in Denver to transfer proven processes so both sites build to a single standard.   What You'll Do   Team Leadership   Lead the Floor: Supervise and schedule a team of technicians across assembly, test, and shipping, and set daily priorities to hit build targets.   Train and Develop: Onboard new technicians, run hands-on training on build and test procedures, and certify team members on critical operations.   Set the Standard: Model safe, disciplined work habits and hold the team to high standards for quality, cleanliness, and documentation.   Assembly & Test   Build Complex Systems: Assemble dilution refrigerator subsystems, including cryostat plates, radiation shields, wiring, thermal links, and gas-handling hardware , to drawings and work instructions.   Run Cooldowns and Acceptance Tests: Operate systems through cooldown and acceptance testing, monitor thermometry and pressure data, and record results accurately.   Vacuum and Leak Checking: Pump down high-vacuum systems, perform helium leak detection, and find and fix leaks.   Troubleshoot: Diagnose build and test failures, work with engineering on root cause, and carry out rework and repairs.   Process & Quality   Transfer Processes: Partner with the Denver team to bring build, test, and inspection procedures to Singapore, and confirm local builds match the global standard.   Improve the Line: Write and update work instructions, flag design and process issues, and suggest fixes that cut build time and defects.   Own Build Records: Keep travelers, test records, and nonconformance reports complete and accurate , and support engineering change orders on the floor.   Manage Materials: Coordinate with supply chain on parts, tooling, and consumables, and keep the work area organized and audit-ready .   Safety   Lead on Safety: Enforce safe practices for handling liquid nitrogen, helium, pressurized gas, and high vacuum, and make sure the site meets Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.   Who You Are   Required:   Diploma, Higher Nitec, or equivalent in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, or a related engineering field.   5+ years of hands-on experience assembling, testing, or maintaining complex electromechanical, vacuum, or scientific equipment.   2+ years of experience leading or supervising a team of technicians.   Hands-on experience with high-vacuum systems and helium leak detection.   Experience safely handling cryogens such as liquid nitrogen or liquid helium.   Able to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and to use precision tools and measuring equipment.   Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.   Self-starter who can drive results independently in a fast-moving environment.   Able to work on-site in Singapore and eligible to work in Singapore.   Preferred:   Experience with dilution refrigerators, cryostats, or other cryogenic systems.   Experience in semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, or scientific instrumentation manufacturing.   Experience with brazing, soldering, fine wiring, or cleanroom assembly.   Experience helping start up a new production line or facility.   Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup.   Willing to travel to Denver, CO for training.   What We Offer   Base Salary: Competitive monthly salary in SGD, depending on experience and qualifications, plus equity and performance bonus.   Impact: A founding role at our Singapore site, with direct influence on how a company developing revolutionary technology builds its products.   Exceptional Team: Collaboration with world-class scientists, engineers, and business leaders who are defining a new industry.
