What You Will Be Doing:

As a Licensing Manager (Individual Contributor), you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing all licensing processes for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) within our network. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Licensing Operations: Drive the end-to-end licensing processes for BCBAs and RBTs, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant submissions, renewals, and updates across multiple states and jurisdictions.

• Regulatory Monitoring: Keep current with all licensing regulations, requirements, and changes for behavioral health professionals, updating internal procedures and ensuring compliance with state boards and regulatory bodies.

• Team Oversight: Oversee an offshore team responsible for licensing application preparation, submissions, and follow-up, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and accountability in all activities.

• Provider Support: Triage and respond to licensing status inquiries, guidance requests, and general questions from BCBAs, RBTs, and their support staff, providing timely and clear information.

• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards, maintaining comprehensive documentation and high-quality service standards across all licensing activities.

• Process Improvement: Lead workflow optimization and process improvement initiatives within licensing operations, identifying and resolving inefficiencies to reduce turnaround times and improve provider satisfaction.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, provider success, compliance, HR, finance, and other teams to align licensing activities with overall business objectives and ensure a seamless provider experience.

• Additional Responsibilities: Adapt to evolving responsibilities and projects as Finni Health grows and the licensing landscape changes.

About You:

You are a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual contributor with a strong background in managing licensing for behavioral health or healthcare professionals, dedicated to operational excellence and compliance.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in licensing, credentialing, or compliance roles for healthcare professionals, preferably in behavioral or mental health, telehealth, or a healthcare technology environment. Strong understanding of state licensing requirements and multi-jurisdictional licensing for BCBAs and RBTs strongly preferred.

• Licensing Expertise: Deep knowledge of core licensing processes, common blockers, and best practices for remediation. Ability to handle application submissions, renewals, and updates at scale.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex licensing data, identify process bottlenecks, and implement effective, data-driven solutions.

• Process Improvement: Demonstrated expertise in identifying operational inefficiencies and driving process improvements in licensing workflows.

• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory agencies.

• Organizational & Time Management: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, CRM/support software, and licensing/credentialing management tools. Experience with EHR or RCM platforms is a plus.
