LuxAid BRIDGES is a joint programme of FNR, the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs of Luxembourg's foreign ministry, and LuxDev. It supports Research Luxembourg actors in transdisciplinary research relevant to development cooperation and humanitarian action, building partnerships for sustainable development and poverty eradication. The 2026 call budget is €2 million. Both SEEDLING and full proposals close on the same date. Full projects can run two to three years, with the possibility of covering a fourth year for a PhD student where applicable.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet the current LuxAid BRIDGES rules for eligible Research Luxembourg actors and the required partnership/project scope in development cooperation or humanitarian action. Applications must be submitted through the FNR Online Grant Management System and include the required project-description form and principal investigator CV.
