The M3 Sr. Sales Account Executive will drive enterprise ERP sales growth, with a primary focus on Infor M3 and broader digital transformation solutions. This role offers the opportunity to develop new business, expand strategic accounts, and build lasting relationships with customers and technology partners. You will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opportunity development to proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and closing. Working collaboratively with global business leaders, solution specialists, and marketing teams, you will shape account strategies and identify new market opportunities. The ideal candidate combines a strong sales hunter mentality with enterprise software expertise and a proven record of meeting revenue targets. This is a fully remote opportunity for a US-based professional, preferably located in the Central or East Coast region, with travel of approximately 30% or more.
Manage the full sales cycle: Develop and execute sales opportunities from lead generation and initial engagement through solution positioning, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure. Generate new business: Proactively identify and pursue prospective customers through targeted prospecting, cold calling, networking, and consistent follow-up on inbound and marketing-generated leads. Grow strategic accounts: Develop account plans, identify opportunities for expansion, maintain accurate CRM records, and build long-term customer relationships. Position enterprise solutions: Communicate the value of Infor M3 and the broader digital transformation portfolio, aligning solutions with customer needs and business objectives. Collaborate across global teams: Partner with business line managers and solution specialists to develop account strategies, respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), and advance complex sales opportunities. Build partner relationships: Develop and maintain relationships across the Infor M3 partner ecosystem, negotiate collaboration agreements, and coordinate joint initiatives that support mutual business goals. Support marketing and demand generation: Work with marketing teams to develop lead-generation campaigns and targeted outreach strategies for relevant industries and customer segments. Drive commercial execution: Prepare and negotiate contracts and work orders, apply effective pricing strategies, manage sales forecasts, and navigate complex business discussions to reach successful outcomes. Contribute to team success: Work collaboratively with colleagues, share expertise, and support team members in achieving collective sales objectives. Requirements Extensive enterprise sales experience: At least 7 years of experience selling enterprise solutions, strategic technology applications, or complex software products. ERP expertise: Strong sales knowledge of Infor M3 is highly desirable. Candidates with experience selling competing enterprise ERP solutions may also be considered. Cloud and on-premises knowledge: Experience selling both on-premises ERP systems and multi-tenant cloud ERP solutions. Application portfolio knowledge: Familiarity with the broader Infor M3 application suite or comparable ERP platforms from a commercial and solution-positioning perspective. Proven sales performance: A demonstrated history of achieving sales quotas, developing new accounts, expanding existing business, and managing sales forecasts and revenue projections. Commercial and negotiation skills: Experience with pricing strategies, contract negotiations, third-party vendors, and resolving complex customer or business challenges. Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including experience preparing contracts, work orders, proposals, and customer-facing sales materials. Strategic and independent mindset: Ability to prospect proactively, manage multiple opportunities, develop account strategies, and work effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Collaborative approach: Demonstrated success in team-based sales environments, including mentoring colleagues and supporting shared business goals. Education: A degree in business or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent education or relevant professional experience may also qualify. Global experience: Previous experience working within an international organization or across global teams is an advantage. Preferred additional experience: Background as an Infor M3 or ERP project manager or solution architect is a plus. Location and travel: Must be based in the United States, preferably within the Central or East Coast region to support Central or Eastern time zones, and able to travel approximately 30% or more. Benefits Comprehensive healthcare coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance. Insurance protection: Life insurance and short-term and long-term disability coverage. Retirement savings: Access to a 401(k) plan. Paid time off: Vacation leave, sick leave, and paid holidays. Remote flexibility: Fully remote work arrangement for candidates based in the United States.
