About Us

Aerones is a robotics company that is changing how the wind energy industry maintains its turbines. Founded in Latvia in 2015, Aerones designs and manufactures robotic systems that handle a wide range of wind turbine services, including drone visual inspections, internal blade assessments, lightning protection system checks, tower and blade cleaning, and leading-edge erosion repair. Our technology completes maintenance work up to four times faster than traditional methods, which cuts turbine downtime and operating costs.

What you'll Do

Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure continuous and safe operations.

Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues efficiently and accurately.

Maintain accurate spare parts stock counts, ensuring proper inventory levels and reporting shortages when necessary.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies during maintenance and repair activities.

Use the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to:

  • Record maintenance activities
  • Track work orders
  • Update equipment history
  • Monitor preventive maintenance schedules

Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair; experience in electrical maintenance and repair is a plus.

  • Experience troubleshooting maintenance or repair issues.

  • Basic knowledge of inventory management.

  • Ability to collaborate with a team and coordinate with supervisors to meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency using a multimeter.

  • Eligible to work in the United States.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics is a plus.

  • Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus.

  • At least 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience is a plus.

  • An electrical safety, OSHA, or similar safety certification is a plus.
