Guide complex renewal situations involving pricing strategies, contract terms, negotiations, and risk mitigation. Contract Governance and Escalation Management: Ensure consistent application of renewal standards, contract language, pricing frameworks, and approval procedures. Serve as an escalation point for high-risk renewals, challenging negotiations, and complex client scenarios. Strategic Account Planning: Partner with Sales and Client Service leaders to align renewal strategies with client needs, retention objectives, account growth opportunities, and emerging risks. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Legal, Deal Desk, and Operations teams to coordinate pricing decisions, secure necessary approvals, maintain contract governance, and resolve renewal-related challenges. Operational Excellence: Continuously evaluate and improve renewal workflows, tools, templates, and procedures to enhance consistency, efficiency, and scalability. Automation and Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive activities, standardize processes, and introduce workflow improvements that increase productivity and support sustainable growth. Program and Tooling Implementation: Support the rollout of new renewal programs, pricing models, operational tools, and technology enhancements to improve contract management capabilities. Forecasting and Performance Reporting: Own team-level renewal forecasting accuracy and monitor key performance indicators, including client retention, on-time renewals, net revenue retention, renewal cycle times, and team productivity. Continuous Improvement and Business Impact: Analyze renewal performance trends, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and implement strategies that strengthen revenue predictability, client relationships, and overall operational performance. Requirements A bachelor's degree is required. At least seven years of professional experience in renewals, account management, contract management, or project management. At least two years of people management experience leading client-facing teams or teams that directly support revenue generation. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-volume workflows while supervising, coaching, and developing team members. Strong experience working with commercial contracts, pricing structures, renewal strategies, and contract negotiations. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance, Legal, Client Service, and Operations teams to achieve shared business objectives. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to set expectations, provide constructive feedback, resolve escalations, and motivate a team toward measurable results. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple renewals, competing deadlines, and changing business requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to interpret performance data, evaluate renewal risks, and improve forecasting accuracy. A process-improvement mindset, with the ability to identify inefficiencies, standardize workflows, and implement scalable operational solutions. Commercial awareness and sound judgment when evaluating pricing decisions, contract terms, client risks, and revenue retention opportunities. The ability to work effectively in a remote environment and maintain availability during designated working hours five days per week. The ability to sit or stand for up to eight hours per day and perform computer-based tasks requiring close visual attention, including reviewing documents, analyzing data, and working with digital systems.
