This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting based in the United States. This role will lead complex financial and accounting initiatives within a large, established organization. You will oversee multiple high-impact projects while coordinating activities across several business units within a broader division. The position combines financial reporting expertise with strategic planning, project leadership, and people management. You will help identify critical business opportunities, translate them into actionable strategies, and drive successful execution. The role also requires strong awareness of industry trends and their potential impact on financial processes and business operations. You will coach and develop team members while partnering with stakeholders to deliver accurate, effective, and forward-looking financial outcomes. This is an opportunity for an experienced finance leader to influence major initiatives in a collaborative, technology-enabled remote environment.

Plan, implement, and manage multiple large-scale and technically complex projects across accounting and finance. Oversee financial reporting and accounting activities across multiple business units within the assigned division. Identify critical strategic opportunities and develop actionable plans to address business priorities and improve financial processes. Coordinate project execution across stakeholders, ensuring priorities, timelines, deliverables, and business objectives remain aligned. Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance guidance to team members and other professionals involved in assigned initiatives. Monitor developments and trends within the insurance industry and assess their potential impact on financial processes, business operations, and organizational priorities. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership based on financial, operational, and industry considerations. Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to strengthen accounting, financial reporting, planning, and operational effectiveness. Manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, accountability, and execution across multiple complex initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. 7+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within accounting, financial reporting, finance, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects or initiatives simultaneously. Strong knowledge of accounting, corporate accounting, financial accounting, finance, and financial reporting principles. Proven ability to lead and coordinate activities across multiple business units or functional teams. Strong strategic planning and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions. Experience identifying industry trends and evaluating their potential operational or financial impact. Demonstrated leadership and people-management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members. Excellent organizational, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Equivalent combinations of education and professional experience may be considered in place of the stated educational requirements. Benefits: Annual compensation range of $98,100–$167,850 , based on experience and qualifications. Fully remote, work-from-home position within the United States.
