OUR MISSION SPAN IS ENABLING ELECTRIFICATION FOR ALL ⚡ XFRA BY SPAN IS THE FIRST DISTRIBUTED DATA CENTER USING EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE AND UNDERUTILIZED POWER CAPACITY TO MEET EXPANDING AI COMPUTE DEMAND.
- Decarbonization is the process to reduce or remove greenhouse gas emissions, especially carbon dioxide, from entering our atmosphere.

- Designing a flexible and distributed electrical grid THE ROLE XFRA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager to establish and support manufacturing operations for engineering builds and initial production. You will bring substantial experience managing internal operations or contract manufacturers, ideally in a high-tech environment, and will help turn production plans into reliable execution. RESPONSIBILITIES · Support the setup and day-to-day operation of a manufacturing facility for engineering builds and initial production, including space, utilities, equipment, and material flow. · Partner with engineering to develop and improve production processes and implement engineering changes that reduce build time and improve product reliability. · Develop and document build processes that support production plans and schedules. · Coordinate engineering and initial production builds with cross-functional teams; identify and close gaps in processes, materials, and documentation. · Monitor supplier and contract manufacturer delivery plans, flag risks, and coordinate actions to protect build schedules. · Support production planning, forecasting, and execution. · Support manufacturing quality through in-process checks, verification of product function and material quality, and other relevant production measures. · Work with cross-functional partners to improve manufacturability and serviceability. · Track on-site materials, including receiving, inventory accuracy, usage, handling, and appropriate inventory controls. ABOUT YOU REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · At least 10 years of experience managing internal manufacturing operations or working with external contract manufacturers. · Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. · Experience with supply chain operations, production capacity planning, production readiness, and material management at contract manufacturing facilities. · Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple priorities, make timely decisions, and work effectively under time constraints. · Clear communication skills and the ability to work across functions and management levels. · Proficiency with Google Workspace applications.
