The scholarship is valued at AUD 6,000 for up to one semester and is paid as a one-off payment after acceptance. The approved placement must be at least 95 hours and commence in the current year of the scholarship.

Applicants must be enrolled in one of the listed education or teaching degrees in the Sydney School of Education and Social Work, commence their final professional placement in the current year, and have an approved placement of at least 95 hours. Preference may be given to students demonstrating financial hardship.
