ABOUT US
Full job description
ABOUT US AIM builds autonomy for the real world: robots that move mountains. Our systems bring together software, hardware, and robotics to turn heavy equipment into intelligent machines that reshape how earthmoving is done. We're looking for a Marketing Lead to tell that story to the enterprise buyers who run mines, construction sites, and other heavy-industry operations. You will create the product-marketing materials and programs our sales, business development, field operations, product, and executive teams use to influence, win, and grow customers, and you will regularly measure whether they work. ABOUT YOU You understand technology deeply and get genuinely excited about it. You can learn how software, hardware, and robotics systems work, then explain their features and value in a way that holds up with our engineers and lands with customers. You move fast. When someone asks for an idea, you draft it and share it quickly, then refine it with feedback. You think in numbers. You frame marketing results objectively, in terms of engagement, meetings, conversion, and revenue impact, and you use that data to decide what to do next. You are a dependable partner to sales. You have worked alongside enterprise or B2B sales teams, delivered what they needed consistently, and improved their results. You set ambitious goals and hit them. Together with business development and executive partners, you commit to aggressive targets for customer awareness, conversion, and account expansion. You are persuasive. Your passion for products and technology is evident and contagious, and you can make a convincing case to customers and colleagues alike. WHAT YOU WILL OWN Product marketing that influences buying decisions
- Create and maintain materials that help enterprise buyers make purchase decisions, including product overviews, ROI calculators, use-case documentation, customer-facing roadmaps and vision statements, and onboarding and deployment guides.
- Work with product management and engineering to turn technical capabilities into clear, accurate, customer-focused messaging.
- Equip sales, business development, field operations, and executives with the materials they need to support their counterparts during each stage of the customer journey. Category leadership and awareness
- Establish AIM as a leader in autonomy for heavy equipment, and measurably strengthen that position over time.
- Produce engaging content for LinkedIn, X, industry sites, and the AIM website, including video and product stories.
- Earn unpaid media coverage in industry and national outlets. Customer communication
- Own customer contact lists and regular customer updates.
- Help existing customers understand new capabilities and expand their use of AIM. Plans, targets, and measurement
- Write and execute marketing plans with specific deliverables, dates, and targets for engagement, meetings, and sales conversion.
- Track results, report them clearly, and adjust based on what the numbers show. YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS In your first three months, you will:
- Build or update a core product-marketing toolkit: ROI calculators, use-case documents, application briefs, customer-facing roadmaps, and onboarding and deployment guides.
- Organize our customer contacts and begin regular product updates to AIM's customers.
- Refresh the AIM website with compelling video footage and product information.
- Secure five unpaid media placements in industry or national outlets. QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of marketing experience in B2B technology, such as SaaS, robotics, automation, or technology services.
- A track record of creating product-marketing materials for enterprise buyers, such as TCO/payback/ROI calculators and use-case documentation, that demonstrably influenced purchasing decisions.
- A portfolio of work, with links, showing content that earned strong engagement (clicks, shares, reactions) on LinkedIn, X, or industry websites.
- Experience writing and executing marketing plans tied to specific deliverables, dates, and measurable targets such as engagement, qualified leads, meetings, or sales conversion.
- A key role in establishing a product or company as a leader in its B2B technology category, with evidence that its position improved over time.
- Experience working closely with enterprise or B2B sales teams and improving their results.
- The ability to learn technical products and communicate them accurately enough to earn the confidence of product and engineering teams.
- Comfort measuring and reporting marketing results with numbers, percentages, and clear analysis. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Startup or early-stage company experience.
- Experience marketing to mining, construction, waste management, or other heavy-industry customers.
- Background in product marketing, product management, or field operations for hardware, robotics, or industrial technology.
Base Compensation Range - $160,000 - $210,000
