They seek impactful research, science and nature-based solutions that meet the following eligibility criteria:
Domain: Solutions must operate within the field of regenerative agriculture, advancing climate-resilient and sustainable farming practices.
Applicants Profile: Open to researchers and innovators seeking to develop their work to proof-of-concept stage, with a focus on acquiring the business and entrepreneurship capabilities required to scale and secure funding.
Solutions: Must be grounded in research, science, or nature-based innovation. Both process and technological innovations are eligible to apply.
Relevance to the MENA Region: All applications must directly address food system challenges within the Middle East and North Africa, including:
Climate change adaptation and mitigation
Soil health restoration and combating desertification
Carbon farming and sequestration
Biodiversity enhancement
Food and water security
Farmer support and livelihoods
Geographic Scope: This programme is open to applicants worldwide*.
Eligibility is determined by the proposed solution’s ability to address agricultural conditions and opportunities within the MENA region.
*Currently not accepting applications from the following countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, and Syria.
