Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Client Partner based in the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated, client-focused professional to strengthen strategic partnerships and drive sustainable account growth across enterprise technology clients. In this remote role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, helping organizations maximize the value of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions and related business technologies. You will oversee the client relationship throughout its lifecycle, from strategic planning and onboarding to delivery oversight, renewals, and expansion opportunities. Working closely with sales, delivery, support, and practice leadership teams, you will ensure client objectives remain aligned with technology solutions and business outcomes. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced account management or consulting professional who combines commercial acumen, relationship-building expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.

Strategic Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic and engaged client accounts, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors. Client Advocacy and Satisfaction: Represent client needs internally while balancing business objectives, maintaining accountability for account health, client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success. Account Planning and Growth: Develop and maintain strategic account plans aligned with client business goals, available technology capabilities, and opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional solutions and services. Revenue and Retention Management: Drive revenue growth, account expansion, and client retention while monitoring account performance and identifying opportunities to strengthen long-term commercial relationships. Business Reviews and Strategic Engagement: Lead regular business reviews and strategic check-ins to evaluate performance, identify risks, assess evolving client needs, and recommend opportunities for improvement. Sales and Proposal Coordination: Collaborate with sales executives and practice leaders to scope, position, and price new engagements. Contribute to proposals, coordinate required inputs, and ensure timely follow-through throughout the sales process. Delivery Oversight: Provide strategic oversight of active client engagements, ensuring delivery remains aligned with business objectives without becoming involved in day-to-day project execution. Risk and Escalation Management: Monitor project performance, resource alignment, delivery risks, and relationship concerns in collaboration with delivery and support teams. Act as an escalation point and coordinate timely resolution when issues arise. Client Onboarding and Transitions: Support smooth transitions from sales into active delivery by clarifying account ownership, introducing key delivery stakeholders, and maintaining continuity throughout the client lifecycle. Renewals and Lifecycle Coordination: Track renewal timelines, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure clear ownership and communication across sales, account management, and delivery activities. CRM and Account Intelligence: Maintain accurate client information, account activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM systems. Use available data to identify trends, inform account strategy, and improve client outcomes. Technology and Industry Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, related enterprise software solutions, service offerings, and industry developments to provide informed recommendations and identify new opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong working relationships across sales, delivery, support, and practice teams, influencing stakeholders without direct authority to achieve shared goals. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. At least 8 years of experience in consulting, client delivery, or account management within a business-to-business (B2B) or software environment. Experience does not need to be consecutive. Demonstrated success managing complex client relationships in technology implementation or enterprise software environments, such as ERP projects. Proven ability to increase account revenue, retain clients, strengthen strategic partnerships, and improve customer satisfaction. Experience collaborating with sales teams, delivery professionals, support functions, and practice leadership to coordinate client engagements and achieve business objectives. Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and enterprise business software solutions is preferred. Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to interact confidently with executive-level decision-makers. Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, manage renewals, and align technology solutions with client business goals. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic account oversight with practical execution, follow-through, and effective coordination. Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and resolve complex client issues. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority. Proficiency in spoken and written English. A professional approach that reflects integrity, technical excellence, tenacity, client-centricity, and a positive attitude toward work. Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location and travel: Must be based in an eligible location within the United States and able to travel regularly to client locations across the United States and Canada, with travel of up to 25%, as well as occasional industry events. Attendance at designated offices for collaboration, training, or business needs may also be required. Benefits: Annual compensation: $147,100–$212,300 USD, with the stated national range inclusive of bonus opportunities. Actual compensation depends on skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions, and role level. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) contribution program for US employees. Life insurance and disability benefits. Paid parental leave. Paid flexible time off, paid sick time, and paid holidays. Flexible work schedules and a remote-forward work environment.
