Overview
Monaco’s 2026/27 internship-grant scheme helps eligible higher-education students and recent licence/master completers meet costs of approved internships in Monaco, elsewhere in Europe or outside Europe.
Complete internship details
Support is available for internships in a company, public service, parapublic body or international organisation. Funding may cover up to 17 weeks for an internship undertaken during studies and up to 26 weeks for an internship closing a licence or master cycle. For 2026/27, the standard rate for applicants not already receiving a Monaco state study scholarship is €92 per week in Monaco/Alpes-Maritimes, €192 per week elsewhere in Europe, and €384 per week outside Europe. Reduced rates apply to in-course interns who already receive a Monaco state study scholarship. If the host pays remuneration below the applicable grant, Monaco pays the difference; no grant is paid where host remuneration equals or exceeds it.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be under 30 when filing, be pursuing higher education, and fall within one of the published status/residence groups: Monegasque nationals; non-separated foreign spouses of Monegasques; specified foreign descendants/dependants of Monegasques who reside in Monaco or the neighbouring department when applying; or foreign nationals with at least 10 years of uninterrupted Monaco residence. The internship must relate to the applicant’s course of study.
