The Municipality of Kariba is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Roads Supervisor within its Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Implementing routine and periodic road maintenance programmes.

Leading daily maintenance activities in accordance with specifications, standards and relevant laws.

Carrying out minor design work on storm drains and roads for the Council.

Supervising maintenance teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

At least five (5) O-Level passes.

Certificate in Civil Engineering or a construction-related qualification.

Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
-
Defensive Driving Certificate is an added advantage.
-
At least three (3) years of experience in road maintenance works.

Must be aged 27 years or above.
