Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for protocol inter-networking and architecture of our cloud computing platform. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): IP networking fundamentals and the application of IP protocols; use of protocols and technologies, including VLANs/STP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, VPNs, MPLS, DNS, and HTTP; experience with either Python or PERL scripting; and documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.
