Overview
NUST is accepting Semester 1, 2027 incoming exchange applications for students completing part of their home qualification in Namibia, with credits intended to transfer back to the home institution.
Complete opportunity details
Semester 1 runs from February to June 2027. Applications and enquiries opened 1 September 2026; exchange nominations and passport submissions are accepted 1–25 September, and the application deadline is 15 November. Exchange students must be nominated by a home institution that has a signed exchange agreement with NUST. Tuition is waived for exchange students, but a non-refundable registration fee applies; students cover living costs, accommodation, meals, transport, health insurance and study-permit costs.
Eligibility requirements
Exchange students must be enrolled at a home institution with a signed Memorandum of Understanding/Agreement with NUST and must be nominated by that home institution. The NUST form also supports fee-paying freemovers, but the exchange route described here is the institutional exchange route. Non-Namibian students require the appropriate study visa/permit documentation.
Tips for this visa & mobility opportunity
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Verify the official immigration, program or host-organization requirements before paying fees or sending documents.
- Check passport validity, financial evidence, insurance, appointment and processing-time requirements early.
- Do not rely on third-party claims of guaranteed visas; final decisions are made by the responsible authority.
Verification notes
Verified on NUST's current Corporate Engagement and Internationalisation page and its official incoming-exchange application PDF. The page states Semester 1, 2027 applications opened 1 September, nomination/passport submission runs 1–25 September and applications close 15 November. No closing clock time is stated, so deadline_date is used without inventing a UTC time.
