In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering credit bureau reports by extracting data from data warehouses and ensuring full compliance with all applicable reporting guidelines and regulatory standards. You will manage the end-to-end dispute resolution process for disputes received from Credit Information Companies (CICs) — investigating each case thoroughly and responding with accurate, well-documented, and detailed responses within defined turnaround times (TAT).

Key job responsibilities Extract, validate, and reconcile data from data warehouses to prepare accurate and timely credit bureau reports in compliance with all regulatory and organizational reporting guidelines Manage the end-to-end dispute resolution process for disputes received from Credit Information Companies (CICs), ensuring each dispute is thoroughly investigated and resolved within defined turnaround times (TAT) Draft and deliver clear, detailed, and well-documented dispute responses through email and designated dispute management portals Monitor and track dispute aging, TAT adherence, and resolution metrics to ensure consistent compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) Handle client communications professionally, including responding to queries, providing status updates, and managing interactions across email and specified portals Manage and resolve escalations promptly, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory outcomes Maintain accurate records and documentation for all reporting activities, dispute cases, and client interactions for audit and compliance purposes Identify gaps, trends, and patterns in dispute data to recommend process improvements and enhance reporting accuracy Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on reporting standards, dispute handling procedures, and regulatory updates

A day in the life Your day begins with reviewing overnight dispute queues from Credit Information Companies (CICs) and prioritizing cases based on TAT deadlines. You'll extract and validate data from data warehouses to prepare credit bureau reports, ensuring every submission meets regulatory guidelines. Mid-day, you'll draft detailed dispute responses and update case statuses on designated portals. You'll handle client emails, address escalations, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex cases. Before wrapping up, you'll track TAT metrics, flag aging disputes, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks — keeping reporting accurate and clients informed every step of the way.
