Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Operations Manager based in United States. As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the onboarding and operational delivery of a portfolio of enterprise customers, ensuring seamless launches and efficient operations as their businesses grow. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning product, sales, payroll, legal, and customer support to solve complex challenges and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role offers broad exposure to customer operations, process optimization, data analysis, and scalable business systems. You will identify operational bottlenecks, develop practical solutions, and help build playbooks that improve efficiency across the organization. Designed for ambitious early-career professionals, this opportunity combines meaningful ownership with a steep learning curve in a fast-paced, remote-first technology environment. You will have the chance to expand your expertise, take on increasingly complex responsibilities, and build a strong foundation for future operational leadership.

Own the onboarding process and operational delivery for a portfolio of enterprise customers, ensuring successful launches and reliable ongoing operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, payroll, legal, and customer support, to resolve operational challenges and coordinate effective solutions. Drive operational excellence by identifying process bottlenecks, analyzing inefficiencies, and implementing scalable improvements. Build and maintain trusted customer relationships, ensuring a smooth, reliable, and high-quality operational experience throughout the customer lifecycle. Analyze operational data to identify emerging trends, assess risks, uncover improvement opportunities, and support data-informed decision-making. Take ownership of increasingly complex customer environments and portfolios as your expertise and responsibilities grow. Develop and improve operational playbooks, workflows, and internal processes to strengthen consistency and efficiency across the operations organization. Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that support scalable service delivery and better business outcomes. Monitor operational performance, proactively address issues, and ensure enterprise customers receive the level of execution and service they expect. Build deep knowledge of products, systems, and operational workflows while developing the skills needed to manage large-scale operations independently. Requirements: Approximately 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in a fast-paced, analytical, operational, or technology-oriented environment. A strong academic background in a technical, quantitative, or analytical discipline, such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, economics, or a related field. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to learn quickly, interpret complex information, and develop structured solutions to ambiguous challenges. Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy and quality. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build productive relationships with customers and internal partners. A proactive, autonomous, and ownership-driven mindset, with the confidence to take initiative, make decisions, and drive projects forward without requiring constant direction. Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve quickly and responsibilities extend beyond a narrowly defined function. A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in identifying opportunities for automation, streamlining workflows, and improving operational performance. Motivation to pursue an accelerated career path in technology, with a preference for hands-on ownership, broad business exposure, and practical problem-solving over a narrowly specialized role. A strong desire to develop into an operational leader by taking on increasingly challenging responsibilities and delivering measurable results. Candidates with strong quantitative academic backgrounds, experience in engineering or technology, or an interest in applying analytical skills to business operations are particularly encouraged to apply. Benefits: Competitive salary: Annual gross base salary ranging from $75,000 to $105,000 USD , with final compensation determined by experience, skills, and location. Offers are localized to the applicable country's currency. Equity opportunities: Potential stock grants depending on the role, employment status, and location. Remote-first flexibility: Work remotely while collaborating with a globally distributed team. Optional coworking access: Flexible office membership opportunities through IWG, subject to availability and applicable terms. Career development: Broad exposure to enterprise customer operations, product, payroll, process improvement, and cross-functional business functions. Accelerated professional growth: Opportunities to take ownership of increasingly complex customer portfolios, expand operational expertise, and progress toward future leadership responsibilities. Country-specific benefits: Additional perks and rewards tailored to employment status and local market requirements. Health and wellness benefits: Healthcare and other employee benefits may be available depending on employment location and eligibility. Inclusive workplace: A commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, and accessibility throughout the recruitment and employment experience. Accessible recruitment: Application and interview accommodations are available upon request for candidates with disabilities or other needs.
