Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle Cloud PPM Functional Lead based in the United States. This role will lead the functional delivery of Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management across a complex enterprise ERP implementation. You’ll work directly with finance, project controls, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable PPM solutions. The position covers the full implementation lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. You’ll help support sophisticated engineering and construction use cases, including project costing, billing, contracts, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue recognition. The role combines hands-on Oracle Cloud expertise with client-facing consulting, functional leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll also influence integrations, data conversion, reporting, training, and adoption while advising stakeholders on Oracle best practices and new capabilities. This is an opportunity to work remotely with a high-impact team while helping a major client modernize critical project and financial processes.

Lead Oracle Cloud PPM across the complete implementation lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-production support. Facilitate requirements-gathering and solution-design workshops with finance, project controls, operations, and other client stakeholders. Configure Oracle Cloud PPM capabilities including Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Control, Project Management, and Grants Management as applicable. Design functional solutions for engineering and construction scenarios such as capital projects, cost-plus and fixed-price contracts, retainage, change orders, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and project cost accounting. Produce key functional deliverables, including future-state process designs, configuration workbooks, functional design documents, and test scripts. Define integration and data-conversion requirements and collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, reports, extensions, OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, and REST APIs. Ensure effective integration between PPM and Oracle Cloud Financials, Procurement, HCM, and other relevant enterprise systems. Plan and execute system integration testing and user acceptance testing, troubleshoot defects, and coordinate timely resolution. Develop training materials and deliver end-user and train-the-trainer sessions to support successful adoption. Support cutover, go-live, hypercare, and knowledge transfer to client support teams. Advise stakeholders on Oracle Cloud best practices, quarterly updates, new functionality, and opportunities to improve business processes. Collaborate effectively with technical, functional, client, and offshore teams throughout the engagement. Requirements At least one complete Oracle Cloud PPM implementation delivered from solution design through go-live and hypercare. Hands-on experience implementing the latest Oracle Cloud PPM release in a live production environment. 5+ years of Oracle ERP experience, including at least 3 years focused on Oracle Cloud PPM. Strong functional expertise in Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Project Control. Solid understanding of project accounting principles, including cost capture, burdening, revenue recognition, billing methods, and project financial management. Experience with Oracle Cloud configuration tools such as Functional Setup Manager (FSM) and setup data import/export. Familiarity with integration points between Oracle Cloud PPM, Financials, Procurement, and HCM. Demonstrated ability to lead client workshops, gather requirements, translate business needs into functional solutions, and produce clear documentation. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Authorization to work in the United States. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex functionality to both technical and business audiences. Confident client-facing presence and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills. Self-directed and comfortable managing deliverables in a fully remote environment. Collaborative approach and experience working with cross-functional and offshore teams. Experience with two or more full-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations is preferred. Engineering, construction, architecture-engineering-construction, or related industry experience is highly desirable. Current Oracle Cloud PPM or equivalent Oracle certification is preferred. Experience integrating Oracle Primavera P6 or Unifier with Oracle Cloud PPM is a plus. Experience with Grants Management, Project Asset Management, or Project Execution Management is advantageous. Consulting or systems-integrator experience and familiarity with migrations from legacy platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, Deltek, or Viewpoint are additional advantages. Benefits Remote position available within U.S. time zones. Occasional overlap with client core business hours expected. Occasional client-site travel may be requested but is not required. Contract-to-hire opportunity may be available based on performance and client requirements. Opportunity to work on a major Oracle Cloud ERP transformation within the engineering and construction sector. Exposure to complex enterprise processes spanning project management, financials, procurement, contracts, and operations. Collaborative consulting environment with opportunities to work directly with senior client stakeholders. Candidates must be able to successfully complete a standard background check. Equal opportunity workplace committed to considering qualified applicants without regard to protected characteristics.
