Complete scholarship details
For 2026/27, the OSCE Mission to Serbia will administer up to eight Master's scholarships and up to seven scholarships for one academic year of doctoral study at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences and Faculty of Security Studies. Master's applicants must apply to the MA in Peace, Security and Development at the Faculty of Political Sciences or eligible Master's studies at the Faculty of Security Studies, while doctoral applicants must apply to doctoral study at one of the two faculties. Candidates must apply to the faculty in parallel with the scholarship application. The current call does not state a cash value or itemized cost coverage, so no amount is inferred.
Eligibility requirements
All scholarship applicants must be Serbian citizens. The programme targets people working in the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, Security Information Agency, civil society or media, as well as candidates pursuing or intending to pursue academic or professional careers relevant to security-sector governance. Scholarship eligibility depends on formal acceptance to the sponsored University of Belgrade programme. PhD candidates who are already enrolled and have successfully completed the first doctoral year may also apply. Qualified female candidates are particularly encouraged.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified against the University of Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences announcement and the attached OSCE Mission to Serbia 2026/27 call PDF. The PDF confirms Serbian citizenship, up to 8 MA and 7 PhD scholarships, sponsored programmes, parallel university admission, email submission and the 15 September 2026 deadline. The call does not publish a cash value or detailed cost categories, so the funding amount is explicitly left unspecified.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
