This individual will be driving trucks across the Baton Rouge area as well as working in our warehouse. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers in a box truck (26 feet) from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. Additionally, this person will be doing ad hoc tasks such as checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and building orders.

Overnight in hotel every Monday and Thursday night!! Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus Proven longevity in past employment TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!! Preferred background: **Soiled Linens **Ice/Liquor/Pallets of Food Product **Municipal Waste **Medical/Office Equipment
Job stability – as an essential service to healthcare we are a non-seasonal and stable business Opportunities for overtime Consistent work hours –M-F position 1st Shift (5AM to 3PM) Benefits – Full time roles are provided benefits, sick leave and vacation leave from day one!! Permanent position – This is a Full-time permanent role of 40 hours per week! Competitive salary – This position is offering a set rate (non-Negotiable) of $24.00 per hour!
