The Paid Ads Strategist will drive the performance and growth of digital advertising campaigns through data-driven insights, strategic planning, and continuous optimization. This role focuses on paid search and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, managing substantial advertising budgets while identifying opportunities to improve campaign efficiency and return on investment. You will analyze performance metrics, conduct keyword research, optimize ad copy and landing pages, and implement A/B testing strategies. Working closely with management and cross-functional teams, you will help improve campaign outcomes and develop solutions for underperforming accounts. The ideal candidate combines analytical expertise with creative thinking and a strong understanding of digital marketing trends. Monitor, measure, optimize, and report on paid advertising campaign performance, using data to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and execute paid search strategies, including keyword research, keyword categorization, bidding optimization, and campaign structure. Manage high-volume advertising budgets while maximizing efficiency, campaign performance, and cost-effectiveness. Create and optimize ad copy and landing pages to improve click-through rates, impression share, Quality Score, and cost per lead (CPL). Conduct A/B testing and analyze campaign results to identify effective approaches and continuously improve performance. Monitor competitor activity, keyword rankings, market trends, and emerging opportunities across digital advertising channels. Provide expertise in paid media, web analytics, user behavior, data analysis, and performance reporting. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation, software, and advertising management tools. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for at-risk accounts and address campaign performance challenges. Stay current with advertising platform updates, industry standards, and best practices across Google, Microsoft Advertising, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Maintain knowledge of digital marketing technologies, analytics tools, data management practices, and emerging advertising trends. Support additional responsibilities as assigned and maintain reliable attendance in this full-time position. Requirements Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in paid search and PPC campaign management. Previous experience working at a digital marketing agency is preferred. Certifications: Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads) certifications. Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Google Ads Manager (MCC), with a solid understanding of campaign analytics, keyword management, and performance reporting. Digital marketing expertise: Strong knowledge of direct-response marketing, interactive marketing principles, paid media optimization, web analytics, and user behavior. Analytical capabilities: Excellent data analysis, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate campaign data into actionable recommendations. Advertising platforms: Experience with Yahoo! Gemini, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and online bid management platforms is an advantage. Creative skills: Strong copywriting and proofreading abilities, with knowledge of CSS and HTML for landing page development considered a plus. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and collaborate effectively with colleagues and management. Work style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of accuracy, accountability, and professional integrity. Adaptability: Willingness to stay current with evolving advertising technologies and industry best practices in a performance-driven environment. Additional requirements: Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends when necessary. Some management positions may require occasional travel. The role involves prolonged periods of sedentary work and occasional lifting of at least 20 pounds. Benefits Compensation: $27–$30 per hour. Work arrangement: Fully remote position.
