Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Business Manager based in the United States. As a Partner Business Manager, you will drive strategic partnerships and accelerate sales growth across the enterprise, commercial, SMB, and public-sector markets. You will serve as a trusted advisor to key channel partners, building collaborative relationships that align business priorities and deliver measurable results. Your primary focus will be expanding the adoption of compute solutions among strategic partners supporting state, local, and educational (SLED) customers across the eastern United States. Through joint business planning, data-driven sales strategies, and proactive collaboration, you will strengthen revenue growth, profitability, and sales pipeline development. You will work closely with sales leaders, marketing teams, and technology specialists to position solutions competitively and unlock new market opportunities. This fully remote role offers an opportunity to influence business transformation within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will combine commercial expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship management to create sustainable growth and long-term partner success.

Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key channel partners, acting as a trusted advisor and aligning joint objectives with business priorities. Promote compute solutions through partner sales teams using presentations, direct engagement, and digital sales initiatives, with a focus on strategic SLED growth partners in the eastern United States. Develop and execute joint business plans, sales strategies, and partner engagement initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and strengthen long-term partner loyalty. Implement partner programs, sales strategies, and business systems to improve commercial performance and achieve measurable financial outcomes. Collaborate with territory sales managers, partner management teams, business units, and marketing stakeholders to coordinate sales activities and maximize growth opportunities. Build a strong understanding of partner priorities, industry trends, customer IT investment strategies, technology portfolios, and business objectives to identify opportunities and differentiate solutions. Monitor the competitive landscape and market developments to refine positioning and develop effective go-to-market strategies. Drive pipeline generation and deal progression by proactively engaging partners and co-selling teams, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring sufficient pipeline coverage to meet sales targets. Lead partner sales enablement initiatives, providing guidance, presentations, and training on the value proposition, capabilities, and benefits of the compute portfolio. Champion partner advocacy by understanding customer challenges, identifying creative solutions, and mobilizing the broader business ecosystem to deliver value. Track partner performance, maintain accountability for commitments, and follow through on strategic initiatives to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement. Requirements: A university degree or bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred. At least four years of sales experience, ideally in partner management, channel sales, business development, or enterprise technology sales. Demonstrated success in growing revenue through partner engagement, developing strategic relationships, and delivering measurable sales results. Strong business acumen and analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret market trends, assess opportunities, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage audiences of varying sizes and seniority levels. Experience developing joint business plans, coordinating partner sales activities, and working collaboratively with internal sales teams and external stakeholders. A strong understanding of technology markets, IT solutions, customer investment priorities, and competitive positioning; experience with compute infrastructure or enterprise technology is an advantage. A strategic, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate change, solve complex business challenges, and identify opportunities for growth. Proven ownership, accountability, and follow-through in managing partner commitments, sales initiatives, and stakeholder relationships. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining a results-driven approach. A collaborative mindset and the ability to mobilize resources across teams and business functions to achieve shared objectives. Willingness to work remotely while maintaining strong engagement with partners and internal stakeholders across the assigned territory. Benefits: Competitive sales compensation: The advertised annual on-target compensation range is $130,000–$259,500 in New York and $113,000–$259,500 in the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Performance-based earnings: On-target compensation consists of a 60% base salary and 40% target-level sales compensation, assuming achievement of 100% of the sales plan. Remote work flexibility: A fully remote arrangement allows you to work primarily from home. Health and wellbeing benefits: Access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing for employees and their families. Professional development: Career development programs and learning opportunities to support professional growth, expand expertise, and explore new career paths. Inclusive work environment: A culture that values diverse backgrounds, individual perspectives, collaboration, and equal employment opportunities.
