Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People Analytics Specialist based in Brazil. As a People Analytics Specialist, you’ll tackle complex organizational and workforce questions using data, statistical methods, and predictive analysis. You’ll take full ownership of ambiguous analytical problems, from framing hypotheses through methodological validation and translating findings into business decisions. The role combines People Analytics, Data Science, advanced SQL, statistical modeling, experimentation, and predictive approaches. You’ll build new analytical solutions, including predictive models, experiments, and innovative ways to explain workforce challenges through data. Your insights will support HR teams, managers, leadership, and C-level stakeholders with clear, evidence-based perspectives. You’ll also help raise the technical standards of the analytics function by mentoring less experienced analysts and providing senior-level guidance. This is a remote-first opportunity in a collaborative, high-performance environment where data quality, accuracy, innovation, and practical business impact are highly valued.
Take full ownership of complex and ambiguous People Analytics problems, from defining organizational hypotheses through methodological validation and translating findings into actionable decisions. Develop analytical solutions that address workforce and organizational challenges, including predictive models, experiments, and new data-driven approaches to business questions. Apply statistical modeling and predictive analysis using Python or R to investigate workforce patterns and support evidence-based decision-making. Work with large and complex datasets using advanced SQL, ensuring analytical outputs are accurate, reliable, and appropriately validated. Design and apply appropriate statistical methodologies, including experimental design, hypothesis validation, and model evaluation. Translate complex technical findings into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights for senior stakeholders, including leadership and C-level audiences. Partner closely with People teams and managers to anticipate organizational challenges and support preventive or mitigating actions through data. Develop data products and analytical outputs that provide reliable sources of truth for workforce-related decisions. Identify opportunities to improve analytical methods, processes, and approaches rather than limiting work to maintaining existing solutions. Mentor less experienced analysts, provide technical guidance, and help raise the overall analytical and methodological standards of the team. Maintain a strong focus on data quality and accuracy, ensuring that analytical results are robust, consistent, and clearly supported by the underlying data. Requirements Proven experience in People Analytics, Data Science, or a related analytical discipline, ideally applied to organizational or workforce challenges. Strong proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and predictive analysis, including applications such as turnover prediction or organizational network analysis. Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large and complex datasets. Solid foundation in statistics and applied methodology, including experimental design, hypothesis validation, and model evaluation. Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, business-relevant narratives for diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership and C-level audiences. Track record of mentoring or providing technical leadership to junior or less experienced analysts. Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English, with the ability to use English for code, documentation, tools, reference materials, and meetings with international senior stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to data quality and accuracy. Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems, structure analytical questions, and develop solutions where established approaches may not yet exist. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-making through data. A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a high-performance, knowledge-sharing environment. Benefits Remote-first work model, allowing employees to live anywhere in Brazil. Option to work from São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces up to twice a week. Competitive salary. Profit sharing. Meal allowance. Health insurance. Dental plan. Life insurance. Childcare subsidy and Atypical Parenthood subsidy. Wellhub membership. Home office allowance. Employee assistance program covering mental health, social, legal, and financial support. Extended parental leave. Day off on your birthday, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. Benefits Club with discounts on everyday services. Discounts at educational institutions. Reading kit for children through PlayKids. Opportunity to work on high-impact People Analytics and Data Science challenges in a collaborative, technology-driven environment. Opportunities to mentor other analysts and contribute to the development of analytical practices and capabilities.
