Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager based in the United States. As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will lead paid marketing strategy and execution, driving measurable growth across self-serve acquisition and sales-assisted demand generation. You will oversee multi-channel campaigns spanning paid search, paid social, video, and display, managing budgets and optimizing performance across the entire marketing funnel. Working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Data teams, you will connect marketing investment to meaningful business outcomes. You will develop a continuous experimentation program to improve audience targeting, creative performance, landing pages, and conversion rates. Through advanced analytics, attribution, and incremental measurement, you will identify the strategies that generate high-quality users, qualified pipeline, and revenue. You will also explore new markets, scale campaigns internationally, and integrate AI-powered tools into everyday marketing workflows. This remote opportunity is ideal for a data-driven, entrepreneurial marketer who thrives on experimentation, cross-functional collaboration, and sustainable growth in a fast-paced technology environment.

Own end-to-end paid marketing strategy: Develop and execute an integrated paid acquisition strategy across paid search, paid social, video, and display, ensuring campaigns support business objectives throughout the full marketing funnel. Manage budgets and performance: Oversee paid media budgets, allocate investments across channels, establish performance targets, and optimize spending to maximize acquisition efficiency and return on investment. Drive measurable business growth: Generate high-quality activated users, qualified sales pipeline, and revenue across both self-serve acquisition and sales-assisted demand generation. Lead continuous experimentation: Design, implement, and evaluate structured experiments across audiences, creative assets, landing pages, messaging, and offers to identify growth opportunities and improve campaign effectiveness. Optimize full-funnel performance: Build programs that connect awareness, demand creation, conversion, activation, and downstream business outcomes rather than focusing exclusively on bottom-of-funnel acquisition. Strengthen attribution and measurement: Partner with Data teams to develop reliable measurement frameworks that connect advertising investments to meaningful outcomes, incorporating incrementality testing, holdouts, and media mix testing where appropriate. Improve the post-click experience: Collaborate with Marketing and Web teams to align campaign messaging with landing pages and optimize the user journey from initial engagement through conversion. Manage external partners: Lead agencies, vendors, and other external partners to ensure effective campaign execution, consistent performance, and scalable paid marketing operations. Expand into new markets: Establish performance targets and develop strategies to extend paid acquisition programs into additional geographic markets and languages, including Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC). Support account-based marketing and demand generation: Work closely with Sales and Revenue Operations teams to align paid campaigns with account-based initiatives, pipeline generation, and broader commercial priorities. Leverage data and analytics: Use performance data, product analytics, business intelligence tools, and SQL to assess campaign effectiveness, uncover trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Integrate AI into marketing workflows: Apply AI-powered tools to improve keyword research, creative development, performance analysis, and reporting while identifying emerging opportunities to enhance paid marketing effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement: Stay informed about evolving advertising platforms, measurement methodologies, and marketing technologies, applying new insights to strengthen campaign performance and long-term growth. Requirements: Relevant professional experience: At least five years of hands-on experience in B2B digital marketing and performance marketing, with direct responsibility for paid search, paid social, and video or display advertising budgets. Full-funnel marketing expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute campaigns across the entire marketing funnel, from brand awareness and demand creation to conversion and revenue generation. B2B growth experience: Experience supporting both self-serve acquisition and sales-assisted demand generation, with an understanding of how marketing activities contribute to pipeline development and business growth. Experimentation and optimization skills: Strong experience designing structured tests across audiences, creative assets, landing pages, and offers, with the ability to interpret results and make informed decisions even when findings are inconclusive. Analytical proficiency: Comfort working directly with performance data, including practical experience with SQL, product analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools. Advanced measurement knowledge: A clear understanding of attribution limitations, particularly last-click attribution, and practical experience with incrementality testing, holdout experiments, or media mix modeling and testing. Self-serve and freemium expertise: Experience managing paid acquisition within a self-serve or freemium business model, with an understanding of how acquisition influences user activation, engagement, and retention. Budget ownership and commercial judgment: Ability to manage significant marketing investments, prioritize channels, set measurable goals, and connect campaign performance to business impact. Cross-functional collaboration: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product, Marketing, Web, Data, Sales, and Revenue Operations teams. Agency and vendor management: Experience coordinating external partners, setting expectations, monitoring execution, and ensuring marketing programs deliver against defined objectives. International growth capabilities: Ability to develop scalable acquisition strategies for new regions and adapt campaigns to different markets, audiences, and languages. Entrepreneurial mindset: A proactive, resourceful, and self-directed approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify opportunities, test new ideas, and adapt quickly in a high-growth environment. AI and marketing technology fluency: Willingness to incorporate AI tools into daily workflows and a thoughtful perspective on how AI is changing campaign management, creative production, analysis, and reporting. Continuous learning: Curiosity about emerging marketing practices, advertising technologies, and measurement approaches, with a commitment to ongoing experimentation and improvement. Benefits: Competitive compensation: Estimated annual base salary ranging from $131,840 to $164,800 for U.S.-based candidates. Location-conscious compensation: Final compensation is determined by factors including geographic location, role level, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional experience. Fully remote work: The opportunity to work remotely from within the United States. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams across Product, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Revenue Operations to influence acquisition strategy and business growth. Professional development: Opportunities to deepen expertise in performance marketing, advanced measurement, experimentation, international growth, and AI-powered marketing tools. Ownership and impact: Direct responsibility for paid marketing strategy, budget management, channel execution, and measurable growth outcomes. Innovation-driven environment: The opportunity to experiment with new approaches, evaluate emerging technologies, and shape scalable marketing programs. Inclusive workplace: A commitment to equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations for candidates and employees with disabilities throughout the application process and during employment.
