This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform Architect, Network based in India. This is a senior technical architecture role focused on designing, modernizing, and operating secure, resilient, and scalable enterprise networking platforms. You will serve as a trusted technical partner for customers, providing deep expertise across networking, security, cloud, virtualization, and disaster recovery . The role combines strategic architecture with hands-on technical leadership, including complex troubleshooting, technical escalation, and solution validation. You will help improve availability, cyber resilience, performance, automation, and service quality while ensuring solutions meet defined SLA, RTO, and RPO objectives. Working across engineering, security, operations, architecture, product, and customer-facing teams, you will influence complex technology decisions and modernization initiatives. The position is fully remote in India and offers an opportunity to shape enterprise infrastructure, introduce responsible automation and AI, and solve challenging technical problems at scale.

Act as a senior technical authority and highest point of escalation across enterprise networking, cloud, and security environments. Develop a deep understanding of customer technology landscapes, including networking, security, cloud, virtualization, storage, and service interdependencies , and provide expert guidance on architecture, optimization, and modernization. Design and validate failover and failback strategies covering DNS, virtualization, cloud, security, routing convergence, IP remapping, and related dependencies to meet contracted RTO/RPO requirements. Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery strategies, procedures, configurations, and runbooks , ensuring alignment with service-level commitments. Provide expert resolution and hands-on technical support for complex incidents, changes, requirements, customer engagements, and root-cause analysis . Create, review, and maintain high-level and low-level designs, architecture diagrams, technical standards, recovery configurations, runbooks, and documentation . Plan and lead proofs of concept (POCs) to identify technical gaps, validate technologies, improve solutions, and document recommendations and outcomes. Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, operations, service management, security, Sales, and customer-facing teams to improve availability, reliability, performance, cyber resilience, and SLA outcomes . Identify relevant customer expansion opportunities and work with commercial teams when additional technology capabilities or services may be appropriate. Use automation and approved AI tools responsibly to improve solution design, lifecycle management, disaster recovery, dependency mapping, capacity planning, troubleshooting, observability, and technical documentation. Validate AI-generated outputs, recognize their limitations, and ensure company and customer information remains appropriately protected. Own technology lifecycle activities including version validation, patching, upgrades, technology refreshes, decommissioning, contract changes, production configurations, and recovery environments . Develop strong relationships with customer technical stakeholders and deliver technical training, presentations, and knowledge-sharing sessions to customers and internal teams. Contribute technical best practices, white papers, and reusable knowledge to internal technical resources. Maintain compliance with information security, data protection, privacy, governance, and business policies , while proactively identifying and reporting security risks or incidents. Support a collaborative, accountable, security-conscious culture focused on continuous improvement and high-quality customer outcomes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable professional experience. 8+ years of professional IT experience , including significant enterprise architecture or engineering experience within complex networking and security environments. Advanced hands-on expertise in network architecture, enterprise/data-center networking, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, IDS/IPS, high availability, and secure network design . Strong experience designing and troubleshooting disaster-recovery networking, network isolation, clean-room architectures, and both brownfield and greenfield environments . Practical experience with technologies such as Cisco ACI, CATO, Fortinet, VMware NSX, virtualization, storage/replication connectivity, capacity planning, and traffic engineering . Advanced knowledge of networking technologies and protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, BFD, multicast, PBR, MPLS, VRFs, L2VPN, VLANs, VXLAN, STP/RSTP/MST, vPC/VDC, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, LACP, QoS, route filtering, and traffic engineering . Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI , including VPC/VNet, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, VPN, peering, routing, security controls, load balancing, monitoring, hybrid/multi-cloud, and cloud disaster recovery. Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation , including tools such as Terraform, AWS CLI, and Azure CLI, as well as observability platforms such as Splunk, Grafana, and Datadog . Knowledge of modern security architectures and technologies including Zero Trust, SASE, network segmentation, cyber recovery, EDR/XDR, WAF, CDN, DNS , and backup/replication solutions such as Veeam, Zerto, Cohesity, and Carbonite . Ability to use approved AI tools responsibly , validate AI-generated outputs, identify inaccuracies or limitations, and safeguard sensitive company and customer information. Relevant technical certifications such as Cisco CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Network Engineer, Palo Alto Cybersecurity Practitioner, Fortinet NSE, CATO CCA, or F5 CA/CTS are preferred. ITIL, TOGAF , or another recognized IT governance or enterprise architecture certification, or equivalent experience, is advantageous. Strong customer partnership and service orientation , with the ability to build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, technical writing, presentation, and knowledge-sharing skills . Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, sound technical judgment, and a strong understanding of technology risk and security . Collaborative, adaptable, accountable, security-minded, and committed to continuous improvement. Must be legally eligible to work in India without visa sponsorship .
