For academic year 2026–2027, the Minister may award up to 840 scholarships, each worth no more than PLN 17,000 and paid as a one-off payment through the student’s university. The formal submission window for university rectors is 1–25 October 2026 through the OSF system. Students do not submit directly to the Ministry; each university determines how students present candidacies internally.
Eligibility requirements
The award is available on first-cycle, second-cycle and long-cycle master’s studies to students meeting the current study-status rules and demonstrating qualifying significant scientific or artistic achievements related to their studies, or significant sporting achievements. For most applicants, the previous academic year must have been completed and the student must be enrolled in the next year for 2026–2027; the official call states an exception for students admitted to second-cycle study in 2026.
