Analyzes and optimizes hotel revenue strategies, pricing, and inventory for a small portfolio of properties using industry tools and reports.
Full job description
- Develop and implement revenue strategies for a portfolio of hotels (2 or 3 hotels).
- Conduct regular performance reviews and optimize pricing and inventory.
- Helps the growth of Revenue and Net Profit of the hotel through the Revenue Management tools.
- Participates to the actions of the business plan to achieve revenue goals.
- Coordinates promotions and merchandising opportunities.
- Ensures the inventory is available to the specific markets at the right prices at the right time.
- Effectively provides the service to all negotiated deals on the relevant channels.
- Ensures rate competitiveness in room only and packages and ensure the Best Rate Guarantee concept is happening by controlling the distribution channels.
- Analyzes weekly reports and communicate the trends to the Sales, Reservations and Front Office team.
- Participates in weekly Strategy Meeting to provide forecast supporting major market trends.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Business Management preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Reservations Management experience is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Revenue Analytics/Strategy (or equivalent) experience is highly preferred
- Experience with Opera (PMS and S&C)
- Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Fluency in English , additional languages are a plus
