Pricing Analyst II - Intermodal

Schedule: Full Time Job Type: Hybrid Salary Type: Salary Req #: 3556  About the Role As a member of the Intermodal Pricing Team  role will be the intersection of the Carrier & Pricing and be responsible for providing timely spot pricing to a variety of Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB customers by leveraging Uber Freight’s digital carrier network, with the goal of maximizing win rate & profit while helping to facilitate coverage when necessary.  This person will work closely with members of the Pricing, Operations and Account Management Teams. What the Candidate Will Do Submit real-time spot market pricing to intermodal Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB customers through web portals and other forms of communication Review contractual (RFP) pricing to help inform on price points and overall bid strategy in a targeted manner to grow volume Guide the coverage/service of awarded spot volume when necessary  Maintain a constant awareness of US freight market conditions and advise other Uber Freight team members on any changes, trends, etc. noticed in the market Develop direct relationships, when appropriate, to help grow existing Uber Freight accounts Use internal and external pricing tools and databases to guide pricing decisions Expand Uber Freight’s customer knowledge by mastering customer networks, learning price points, finding opportunities, and providing timely communication Leverage data and analytics to drive informed decisions and evolve strategy Take calculated risks to help uncover growth areas Basic Qualifications 2+ years of experience within the intermodal space .  Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders Strong multi tasking skills Preferred Qualifications 2+ years freight pricing experience High level communication and interpersonal skills Strong stakeholder management abilities Ability to work independently Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.  US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.
