The Principal Consultant plays a key role in delivering enterprise software implementations, driving professional services growth, and helping organizations transform their marketing operations. This fully remote position combines strategic business consulting, solution design, and hands-on project management. You will guide customers from early planning and solution visioning through implementation, adoption, and value realization. Working closely with customers, internal teams, and implementation partners, you will ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable results. The role also contributes to services sales, project delivery standards, and the continuous improvement of implementation practices. Support professional services sales activities by responding to requests for proposals and information (RFPs/RFIs), preparing service estimates, developing proposals, and delivering customer presentations. Lead solution visioning, project definition, and value realization workshops to establish project roadmaps, define scope, and agree on success metrics. Provide strategic advisory services throughout software implementation projects, including delivery assurance and guidance for alliance partners. Serve as project manager for assigned engagements, owning project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery outcomes. Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, steering committee discussions, and executive communications to maintain alignment and transparency. Manage project scope, budgets, resource hours, and contractual commitments while coordinating change control when requirements evolve. Identify, document, monitor, and escalate project risks, issues, and decisions, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to resolve them. Coordinate customer, internal, partner, onshore, and offshore resources to support efficient implementation delivery. Maintain project documentation, financial forecasts, and delivery reports using established tools, methodologies, and standards. Coordinate small teams responsible for application configuration and related implementation activities. Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects with varying levels of scale and complexity, alternating between consulting and project management responsibilities as needed. Collaborate with Customer Success teams to support smooth project handovers, sustained customer satisfaction, and continuity throughout the customer journey. Participate in customer health checks and account recovery initiatives when necessary. Develop and improve consulting methodologies, project management practices, delivery templates, and supporting tools. Obtain and maintain relevant platform and marketing services certifications to strengthen product expertise and implementation capabilities. Take on additional responsibilities as business and project needs evolve.
