Our partner is looking for a Principal Information Systems Project Manager based in the United States. Overview We are seeking an experienced IT project management professional to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives supporting critical business operations. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of enterprise resource management platforms and applications, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project resources, and drive initiatives from planning through deployment and operational transition. Working across IT, cybersecurity, business operations, and other stakeholder groups, you will help deliver secure, scalable, and reliable information systems. Lead complex, high-visibility IT projects involving enterprise resource management systems, resource forecasting tools, and related business applications. Develop comprehensive project execution plans, define objectives and deliverables, allocate resources, and establish roles and responsibilities across matrixed teams. Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, priorities, and resource allocation to ensure delivery meets technical, security, and business requirements. Coordinate the complete information systems delivery lifecycle, including solution design, development, cybersecurity, testing, deployment, and operational handover. Provide project management guidance and technical direction, applying established methodologies, industry best practices, and emerging IT tools to improve execution. Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, security specialists, engineering groups, and external stakeholders to resolve complex technical and operational challenges. Represent project teams in stakeholder discussions, communicate progress and risks, and facilitate decisions that support successful project outcomes. Develop and implement change management and business readiness strategies, including stakeholder communications, training programs, and user adoption initiatives. Support enterprise initiatives involving data migration, reporting, metrics dashboards, system testing, and deployment activities. Identify opportunities to improve project governance, delivery processes, and enterprise technology solutions while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities. Requirements A bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant professional experience, a master's degree and at least three years of experience, or a PhD and at least one year of experience. Candidates without a degree may qualify with nine years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience managing IT projects or programs involving multiple functional organizations, such as business operations, information technology, cybersecurity, and engineering. Strong knowledge of project management principles, enterprise information systems, resource planning, and technology implementation practices. Proven ability to develop project plans, coordinate resources, manage risks, resolve issues, and deliver complex initiatives within established timelines and requirements. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to independently determine solutions and make project-level decisions under general direction. Experience coordinating technical and business activities across the full project lifecycle, from requirements and planning through testing, deployment, and operational adoption. Preferred qualifications: Experience supporting cybersecurity governance, regulatory compliance, or security-focused IT programs. A track record of delivering complex enterprise technology solutions involving multiple business and technical teams. Experience managing data migrations, performance metrics, dashboards, testing, training, or deployment initiatives. Familiarity with enterprise systems supporting manufacturing, supply chain, finance, procurement, or similar business functions. Experience using project management and delivery platforms such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Planisware, Post Grey, and/or ServiceNow. A proactive, adaptable approach to project leadership, with a commitment to continuous improvement and effective change management.
