This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal IT Analyst - Veeva RIM based in the United States. This is a senior technology role focused on the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Veeva Vault RIM. You will serve as a key techno-functional expert, translating business needs into scalable solutions within a regulated life sciences environment. The role combines hands-on application expertise, technical leadership, business process knowledge, and strategic technology planning. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, project managers, and external technology partners to deliver complex initiatives. Your work will support system modernization, regulatory compliance, user experience, integrations, and reliable service delivery. You will also help evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, and identify opportunities to improve application performance and business processes. This is an impactful opportunity for an experienced RIM professional who enjoys solving complex problems and leading technology transformation.

Plan and implement complex enhancements, upgrades, and incremental releases for Veeva Vault RIM, including the introduction of additional modules. Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution specifications, assessing configuration impacts, dependencies, and overall solution fit. Partner with business and IT teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately translated into development and implementation activities, minimizing defects and rework. Collaborate with the IT System Owner to execute a strategic application roadmap aligned with business and functional objectives. Develop and facilitate strategies for system, application, and data integration, ensuring required interfaces are properly identified, designed, and implemented. Provide technical oversight and mentorship to internal and external development resources across analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment. Manage third-party technical resources and coordinate delivery activities to ensure quality, timelines, and business requirements are met. Conduct research into emerging technologies, including AI, and provide recommendations on technology trends and best practices that can improve enterprise solutions. Test new applications and major or minor releases, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and user experience. Develop, deploy, and support business and application services that respond to evolving user and organizational needs. Troubleshoot complex application issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by coordinating required data extraction, migration, or import activities with relevant technical and support teams. Help ensure RIM capabilities support regulatory requirements, business processes, and high-quality user experiences. Requirements 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years of experience administering and supporting Veeva RIM environments. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a comparable combination of education and professional experience. Expert-level technical knowledge of RIM platforms, ideally supported by relevant Veeva or industry certifications. Strong understanding of RIM industry practices and regulated business processes. Experience with data analytics, reporting, and dashboarding tools such as advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence platforms. Experience providing user and application support, including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. Familiarity with incident management and change management processes. Understanding of the SAFe Agile framework and experience working in collaborative technology delivery environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business leaders, subject matter experts, architects, developers, and technical teams. Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions while communicating effectively with audiences of varying technical expertise. Resourceful, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach to problem solving. Experience managing or working within service-level agreements is preferred. Familiarity with middleware, SFTP, Single Sign-On, and enterprise architecture concepts is preferred. Ability to operate effectively in a regulated environment where compliance, quality, reliability, and documentation are critical. Benefits Base salary of $121,000–$161,500 per year , with actual compensation determined by skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
