Tasks Your role As Principal Engineer, you will provide hands-on technical leadership across our product, integration platform and production infrastructure. Working closely with the CTO and engineering team, you will set technical direction, make critical architectural decisions and help other engineers deliver independently. You will remain close to code and production without becoming the bottleneck for every difficult problem. Your responsibilities Evolve the architecture of Ayunis Core across frontend, backend, agent runtime, identity, permissions and extension interfaces. Own the technical direction of our infrastructure, including deployments, reliability, observability, security and incident readiness. Build stable APIs, SDKs and reusable integration patterns for external systems such as document management systems and identity providers. Make pragmatic trade-offs between delivery speed, simplicity and long-term maintainability. Work with Product and customer-facing teams to turn recurring needs into reusable product capabilities. Collaborate with open-source contributors, software vendors and integration partners. Requirements What you bring Experience operating at Staff, Principal or a comparable level in a production software environment. Strong backend and systems architecture skills, ideally with TypeScript and Node.js. Hands-on experience with agent runtimes like LangChain, OpenAI Agent SDK, Mastra or similar.
